Exotic Adoption Application

Please fill this application out only if you are applying for an exotic animal. If you are looking to apply for a dog or cat, please go back and select the Dog & Cat Application. We make every effort to respond to adoption requests within 24 hours; however, in some instances it can take up to 7 days to hear back from us as a result of schedules or pending meet and greets occurring. Please be advised that if we receive a large number of applications for one animal in particular that a pending status may be applied to the animal's profile while we process the applications. Applications for exotics are processed in the order they are received typically. In some instances, applications may be processed in different orders if individuals have more experience with the species. Please make sure to consult and check the legality of owning the exotic species in your jurisdiction before applying.

If you don't currently see an exotics vet, list one local vet that you have confirmed will work with this species. *

Have you ever rehomed or surrendered a pet? If so, please list them and the reason they were rehomed or surrendered. *

If you’ve had any pets pass away in the past five years, please list their species, the age of their passing, and the reason for their passing. *

Has anyone in your household bred an animal? If so, please describe the circumstances. *

Please list the phone number for at least two personal (nonfamilial) references. You will not be approved if you do not provide references. *

The application review process can take up to 7 days though usually will be completed sooner. It can take longer if your references don't answer. Please make sure they are aware we will be calling. If you currently have a vet, please also notify them that we will be reaching out to them and provide approval to speak with us. We ask that you please do not call us for updates on your application.
