Brisinger, AID: E000023- Adoption PendingBrisinger is a 6 month old Ball Python approximately 1 foot in length. Brisinger's sex has not been confirmed as we do not perform this unless medically necessary. Brisinger came to us as a transfer from a rescue partner. Brisinger was in good health on arrival and has since completed a quarantine and continues to be in good health. Brisinger is an ideal snake for those with beginner snake handling skills. Brisinger is young and easily handled. Brisinger is eating well eating frozen/thawed mice very well and has had no difficulty. Brisinger will require an adopter that is willing to continue handling and training on a regular basis to ensure that Brisinger will continue to do excellent when interacted with.

Jojo, Aid: E000026Jojo is an approximately 13 year old pastel ball python approximately 4 feet in length. Jojo's sex has not been confirmed as we do not perform it unless medically necessary. Jojo came from a hoarding situation, arriving in very poor and underweight condition. Since then, Jojo has made a complete turn around and is now a healthy weight and in good body condition. Jojo does require an experienced keeper and is not a good candidate for first time snake owners. As a result of the neglect, it suffered from Jojo will strike initially when being removed from the enclosure, but this seems to be the result of anticipation for food. Jojo is eating frozen/thawed rats excellently and has not had any trouble. Jojo has gone through multiple sheds with us and does not have any difficulty during the process. When out of the enclosure Jojo is easily handled and does well with interaction. Jojo will require an adopter who is confident and familiar with snake behavior. The adopter must also be willing to continue working and training with Jojo. Jojo has already undergone a quarantine period and is ready to go to a forever home.

Salazar, AID: E000033Salazar came to us as an owner surrender when they could no longer keep it. Salazar is a Bull snake whose exact age is unknown. Salazar is approximately 5 feet in length and is eating frozen/thawed rats well. Salazar allows easy handling and does well with it. Salazar has gained some weight already with us, but has a little more to go before being an ideal weight. The sex of Salazar is unknown as we do not determine it unless medically needed and our animals are not to be part of breeding programs. Salazar shows no signs of respiratory illness or any other medical concerns. Salazar has already completed a 30 day quarantine and is ready to go to a forever home.

RYUU, AID: E000034Ryuu came to us as an owner surrender when they could no longer keep it. Ryuu is a Boa whose exact age is unknown. Ryuu is approximately 6 feet in length and is eating frozen/thawed rats very well. Ryuu allows for easy handling and does very well when being handled. Ryuu is already at an ideal weight. The sex of Ryuu is unknown as we do not determine it unless medically needed and our animals are not to be part of breeding programs. Ryuu has some minor damage to its snout associated with rubbing on the walls of the enclosure that was present prior to be surrendered to us. Ryuu has already completed a 30 day quarantine and is ready to go to a forever home.

Nagini, AID: E000032Nagini is approximately 2.5 feet and was born in 2015. Nagini is a pastel Ball Python. The gender is unconfirmed since all of our animals include a no breeding clause, and it has not been medically necessary. Nagini is easily handleable and is an ideal snake for beginners. Nagini is eating frozen thawed adult mice or small rats. Nagini came to us as an owner surrender when they could no longer care for it. Nagini has already undergone a 30 day quarantine and is ready to go to a new home. Nagini shows no signs of illness or respiratory disease. Nagini has gained weight and gone through several sheds while with us already.

Enchilada, AID: E000036Enchilada is a juvenile Eastern Box Turtle under 1 year. She is currently undergoing a 30 day quarantine and will be able to go to a new home once completed. Enchilada was surrendered to us when her owner could no longer care for her. Box Turtles require very specific care to ensure that they thrive and are known to be escape artists when in outdoor enclosures. This species is native to North Carolina however since she was likely captive bred she cannot be released to the wild as it is illegal to release captive bred reptiles. Box turtles can live up to 35-50 years in captivity with correct care. Individuals looking to adopt must reside in North Carolina. In some states it may be illegal to own Eastern Box Turtles. There is no adoption fee, but adopters must be prepared to purchase/build enclosures that will provide excellent husbandry for Enchilada. Enchilada's quarantine is expected to be completed on 6/8/2023.
